Wound care can be a very difficult and frustrating experience for both the patient and the caregiver. As such we offer a specialised treatment option for wounds at home so the patient feels comfortable. Home care also allows for the patient to not make the healing harder by moving too much or having the wound be neglected for prolonged periods.
If you or the person you are caring for has a diabetic foot wound or ulcer that is open and is having difficulty healing, you can come in for an assessment.
Qualified and experienced woundcare team will attend to patients at home. The team has dealt with a variety of wounds and are able to assess and advice where necessary.
The home care team’s visit is scheduled and customised to follow the needs of the patient. Home care is currently available in the Klang Valley and runs daily.
The team will be thoroughly briefed on the patient’s woundcare plan and will be well equipped to care of the wound using sterilisation and other homecare techniques.
For patients and caregivers who have been dealing with the discomfort and pain and loss of mobility that comes with an open and hard to heal wound, home care will give much relief and comfort.
